Born and raised in Marianna, Florida — a small city carved out of the Panhandle — Ashton Stevens grew up surrounded by the sounds of the Black church. Gospel was the first language of his household, and its cadence, conviction and emotional weight became the invisible architecture beneath everything he would later create.

His move to Atlanta brought him into one of the most competitive creative ecosystems in hip-hop, but rather than chasing trends, Stevens doubled down on intentionality. His artistry is rooted in lived experience — fatherhood, faith, struggle, and the quiet victories that rarely make it into mainstream narratives. He writes from the margins of the human experience to find the universal center.
